What’s Included
A LOCAL and USCG Licensed Captain with expert knowledge of the area.
Top-quality fishing tackle, including rods, reels, and gear.
Live and dead bait, customized to target the species of the day.
Ice and an ice chest to keep your drinks cold and your catch fresh on the boat.
Fish cleaning and bagging at the end of your trip so you can take your catch home, ready to cook.
What To Bring & Not To Bring
Rain suits or a light jacket for changing weather conditions.
Sunglasses (polarized if possible) for comfort and better visibility.
Sunblock (preferably no spray sunscreen) to protect your skin.
Hat for sun protection.
Food and drinks (beer is fine, but no glass bottles).
Ice chest to transport your cleaned fish home.
If you prefer, feel free to bring your own rod and reel.
Deposits & Cancellations
A $400 per day deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your trip.
Outside 30 Days: Deposits can be used toward a rescheduled trip within one (1) calendar year of the original date.
Within 30 Days: Deposits are non-refundable.
Within 10 Days or No Shows: Full trip price will be charged.
Weather-Related Cancellations: Determined by the captain and eligible for rescheduling.

Boat Slip Location
The boat slip is located at:
5617 Hopedale Hwy, St Bernard, LA 70085
From Downtown New Orleans (Approx. 45 minutes):
- Head east on I-10 toward Slidell.
- Take Exit 246A for I-510 S toward Chalmette.
- Continue onto LA-47 S (Paris Road).
- Turn left onto LA-46 E (St. Bernard Highway) and follow for approximately 20 miles.
- Turn right onto Hopedale Highway (LA-624) and continue to the end of the road.
- Look for the boat slip at 5617 Hopedale Hwy.
Parking:
There is parking available near the boat slip for your convenience.

Tipping Your Captain
Our goal at Louisiana Fishing Guide Service is to provide guests with fun and memorable fishing experiences and our crew works hard to make sure that’s the case day in and day out. How much you tip your fishing charter captain is up to you, but a 10-20% tip on your charter price is common across the industry.
