Most of our fishing trips are based out of Hopedale, Louisiana, although during certain times of the year, we may fish Lake Pontchartrain when the bite is better there. Both locations are just a 45-minute drive from downtown New Orleans, making it easy for many of our clients to stay in the city and enjoy the local culture. However, we can also recommend a few lodging options near Hopedale, conveniently located close to the boat slip.
Our estuary offers a diverse range of species and year-round fishing opportunities. Anglers can expect to catch redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, black drum, flounder, largemouth bass, jack crevalle, sharks, tripletail, red snapper, and cobia.

Inshore Fishing
Join us for a 6-hour trip exploring the interior marshes and fringe bays of Hopedale. Depending on the season and conditions, we’ll target speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead, black drum, and flounder. Let us know if you’d like to focus on a specific species!

Sight Fishing for Redfish
Spend 6-7 hours targeting redfish in shallow, gin-clear water. From a 6-foot tall raised platform, you’ll sight-cast to fish weighing 5 to 40 pounds, depending on the season. This trip is recommended for experienced anglers who enjoy the challenge of precision casting.

Red Snapper Offshore (Seasonal)
During the Red Snapper season (generally Memorial Day to Labor Day), we’ll head offshore to the rigs near the Mississippi River Delta. With a 50-mile run to start the day, you’ll target red snapper, mangrove snapper, cobia, and grouper.

Breton Sound & Chandeleur Islands
During the summer, big speckled trout move into the salty waters of Breton Sound and the Chandeleur Island chain. This trip includes a 35-40 mile run early in the morning to target big trout, sharks, jack crevalle, bull redfish, bull drum, sheepshead, and the occasional tarpon.
