Captain Jonathan Allen

I’m a proud Louisiana native who grew up on the scenic Bayou Liberty, just north of Lake Pontchartrain. From an early age, I spent every free moment fishing for bass and bream near my home. My passion for fishing took a new turn when my grandfather introduced me to the waters of Delacroix, where we chased speckled trout and redfish. That’s when my love for saltwater fishing truly began—and it hasn’t wavered since.

Unable to stay away from the water long enough to finish college, I decided to turn my passion into a career and became a licensed charter captain in 2010. Over the past 14 years, I’ve guided countless anglers on unforgettable fishing trips, exploring both the east and west sides of the Mississippi River.

I operate a 24-foot Skeeter bay boat powered by a reliable Suzuki 300 outboard engine. Designed for comfort and performance, the boat accommodates up to 4 anglers with ease and provides a smooth, dry ride. Outfitted with Lowrance electronics, a Minn Kota trolling motor, and dual Power-Pole anchors, this setup allows me to consistently locate and stay on fish, ensuring a successful and enjoyable day on the water.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the sport, I look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping you create lasting memories on the water. Let’s make your next fishing adventure one to remember!
