Our Boat

I operate a 24-foot Skeeter bay boat, specifically designed to excel in the shallow waters of the inshore marshes and estuaries around Hopedale, Louisiana. Powered by a dependable Suzuki 300 outboard engine, the boat offers both speed and efficiency, ensuring quick and reliable access to fishing hotspots while maintaining a smooth, dry ride in various conditions.

With ample deck space, the boat comfortably accommodates up to 4 anglers, providing plenty of room for casting and maneuvering without feeling cramped. The layout is optimized for inshore fishing, with elevated casting platforms that give anglers a better vantage point for sight-fishing opportunities and navigating the intricate network of bayous and marshes.

Equipped with state-of-the-art Lowrance electronics, the boat allows us to locate fish with precision, whether we’re targeting speckled trout in deeper channels or redfish in shallow flats. The Minn Kota trolling motor provides quiet, controlled navigation, perfect for sneaking up on schools of fish without disturbing them. For added stability and efficiency, the dual Power-Pole shallow water anchors enable us to quickly and quietly anchor in prime fishing spots, holding the boat steady while we focus on fishing.
